Research for the second drawing.(Hansels and gretel the sweetest forest)

"Hansel and Gretel is a well-known fairy tale of German origin, recorded by the Brothers Grimm and published in 1812. Hansel and Gretel are a young brother and sister threatened by a cannibalistic hag living deep in the forest in a house constructed of cake and confectionery. The two children save their lives by outwitting her.

            The second painting : Hansel and Gretel 
            It's a drawing of the sweet forest. Forest is contained  with  candies and cake and the house is constructed of cake and sweets. 




The painting is on process of drawing and coloring. There are so many details to put to and I throw away the first painting(of Hansel and Gretel). Because I don't feel that I like that one. So I started on a new one and keep doing on this one as good as I can. I'll try to finish this painting before Sunday. :D

Dovregubben

Dovregubben : The troll queen(king) or queen(king) of the mountains lives alone in the forest locate in Dovre mountain with her(his) court. Dovregubben is from scadinavian folktales. 

Think about when I was a kid I always think I can be a part of every stories I watched and read and stories I have been told. I will continue drawing this girl in every single piece but different characters.

The quote reminds me of we try escape from the reality to find the freedom to a dislocate place.

Concept which came from Pre-tsis Research.

I've been research and drawing about the carnivorous plants which most people think this kind of plant is wired. So I started researched about wired plant and sketched some of them.

While I'm research about this I have the idea to draw the forests(from fairy tales and folktales) from my imagination. I was plan to do the illustration. Because I want to be an illustrator. So I think I should start do an illustration. When I was a kid my parents brought me many fairy tales to watch and read. There are thousand books in my house. My favorite books are about mystery and surrealist. Also I love surrealism art. 

I've been research about folktales from many countries. Now I'm working on the Dovregubben or the troll kings. I try to get this one finish tomorrow.
